Hi, I'm Billy P, the Music Director of Cheeky Peachy Vocals.
I'm a classically trained pianist with 20 years at the keyboard and more than a decade of experience playing and music directing musical theater and pop. Whether you need a stuio pianist, you're preparing for an audition, a recital, or a full production, I'd love to be in your corner. My goal is simple: to make you feel supported, confident, and free to focus on your performance while I take care of the rest.
Billy P is a pianist, accompanist, church organist, and music director with twenty years of classical training .
After building his foundation in the classical repertoire, he turned to pop, gospel, and musical theater. Since then, he has music directed several theater productions and has played and led the pit for shows including Alice in Wonderland, Urinetown, American Idiot, and Pasek and Paul's song cycle Edges.
That range, from classical repertoire to a Green Day rock score, means BP is just as comfortable with a delicate art song as with a belty sixteen bar cut or a pit that needs some grit. As an accompanist, he believes his job is to follow the singer and the band: listening closely and creating a relaxed, encouraging room where they can do their best work.
